Andrew is a Senior Managing Director responsible for technology underpinning the Equities business as well as leading the firm’s Platform, Cloud and Core Engineering organizations.  He is responsible for a diverse set of the firm’s foundational technologies, as well as frameworks and data solutions that service Citadel’s Global Equities, Surveyor, Ashler and International Equities businesses.

Prior to joining Citadel, Andrew spent 13 years at Two Sigma, where he held a variety of senior leadership roles, including Head of Data Engineering and Chief Information Officer.  During his time at Two Sigma, Andrew played a key part in building out market access and execution platforms, regulatory and risk architectures, and the firm’s software development environment.

Andrew is a member of the Engineering National Council at Washington University in St. Louis and serves on the Advisory Board for the Quant Strats and the AI and Data Science in Trading conferences.  Previously, he served on the board of Crux Informatics and as an advisor to Uncharted Power.

Andrew received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
