Monik is the co-founder and CEO of Toma, a leading AI Voice automation company in the automotive industry which is backed by YCombinator. Monik has worked extensively in the field of AI, in academia as a researcher and in the industry applying AI to different industries at companies like Uber, Turing.com and Braze. In the past, he co-founded another startup in the skincare AI space called Skindex that was eventually acquired.

Monik is deeply passionate about using technology to address poverty. He was a lead organizer of Twestival, a fundraising initiative on Twitter that raised millions of dollars for organizations like Charity:water. He has also worked with the Pursuit NYC, a non-profit that addresses economic inequality through technical education and training.
