Ilona is a native New Yorker. From PTA Chairperson to member of ACS Parent Executive Council for Headstart, Ilona has had an interest in the education of children citywide. Ilona has volunteered weekly hours with a local food pantry; multiple non-profit organizations and groups that distribute clothing, shoes, books, and toys; community programs that provide resources, support and recreation; and is an active member of her tenant- association. Ilona believes that people who come together can make a difference and invites people to be part of the solution.
