Lyel is Visiting Faculty and Head of Public Interest Technology Studio at Cornell Tech. He has deep expertise in launching and scaling innovative products, services, and organizations at the intersection of technology and social impact.

Previously, he was a Cofounder of Swayable (YC W18), a Public Benefit Corporation that uses data science to create more persuasive media for many of the worlds leading advocacy organizations, political campaigns, and brands. He currently co-leads the Startups & Society Initiative — a Ford and Omidyar Foundation backed project supporting founders, GPs, and LPs with Responsible Innovation practices.
