Ayisha Irfan
Global Android Lead for Government Affairs and Public Policy, Google

Ayisha Irfan is a social change and public policy professional with 14+ years of experience in legislative advocacy, community organizing, and policy analysis. She has led successful equity oriented issue-based campaigns on education, criminal justice, immigration, and police reform.

As the Global Android Lead for Government Affairs and Public Policy at Google, she works with product leaders to develop and implement policy strategies and initiatives that support the Android ecosystem and its 3 billion + users.

In addition to her policy work Ayisha is also the co-founder of the Muslim Writers Collective, a grassroots initiative that empowers Muslim voices through storytelling and was credited by Vice as a "space for young Muslims to honor their humanity".

She holds a master's degree in Policy and Applied Statistics from New York University and a bachelor's degree in Biology from Brooklyn College.
