I-Hsing Sun serves as the CEO of Envizen, where she spearheads efforts to ensure that individuals in climate-impacted communities receive the support needed to live securely and to thrive. With a rich background in public service and philanthropy, Ms. Sun has played pivotal roles in a multitude of impactful initiatives.

Prior to Envizen, Ms. Sun helped launch the Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund. In this influential capacity, she not only provided funding but also collaborated with dozens of mayors to instigate structural, programmatic, and political change. As the Chief Program Officer, Ms. Sun oversaw the development and execution of comprehensive programmatic endeavors that were designed to seamlessly integrate financial empowerment programs into the cities’ social service systems. In addition, Ms. Sun has demonstrated commitment to local governments facilitating collaboration between programs, policies, and funding streams to benefit communities in need through her work in the Bloomberg administration as the Assistant Commissioner for Financial Empowerment Programs with the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs.
