Meet the Robin Hood AI Poverty Challenge Finalists!
Greg Kieser
Founder, Reforesters Laboratory

Greg Kieser is a New York-based entrepreneur developing businesses and properties on both the rural and metropolitan fronts. His primary rural project is Reforesters Farm, a 400 acre agroforestry farm in Upstate New York, which has some of the largest plantings of chestnuts and hazelnuts in the region. Down in Brooklyn, Reforesters Laboratory, an adaptogen cafe and sound clinic, is soon to open. Aside from developing these sustainability and wellness-focused initiatives, Kieser is interested in and has explored the role that artificial intelligence will play in shaping our societies. To that end, his 2019 book "Dear Machine: A Letter to a Super-Aware/Intelligent Machine (SAIM)" is a creative and very optimistic take on what is possible.

Having spent twelve years at Robin Hood, where he oversaw grants for the employment of technology in the fight against poverty, he is excited to serve on the panel of esteemed judges in the present competition.
