Daria Siegel serves as Vice President of Emerging Tech within the Initiatives department at New York City Economic Development Corporation, a mission-driven, nonprofit organization that works with and for communities across New York City to strengthen neighborhoods and create good jobs. In her role, Daria supports the growth of the technology industry with a focus on AI/ML, cybersecurity, blockchain and web3, and fintech to support the growth of innovation sectors and create opportunities for all New Yorkers. Daria’s experience has been at the intersection of community building and economic development. In her previous role at the Alliance for Downtown New York, Daria built and managed LMHQ, a collaborative shared workspace designed to support the growing creative industries in Lower Manhattan. Daria earned her Master of Urban Planning degree from New York University.
